CREO's Purpose

• Build collaborative relationships among Christians in our region.

• Develop ecumenical relationships, conversations, worship and cooperative efforts with Christian faith communities. 

• Serve as a faith and justice clearinghouse for member organizations. 

• Provide ecumenical resources and information to our churches to enhance Christian unity. 

• Speak to churches and communities through media outlets on issues of social justice and community building. 

• Discern together God’s power and presence that guides our common ministry throughout the region. 

• Encourage ecumenical worship and fellowship, share common concerns, and provide mutual support.

• Share the good news of Jesus Christ with our communities.

• Spread the good news where people are working towards justice.

• Identify issues of common concern and action, provide collegial ministry, and encourage greater ecumenical cooperation.
